LA PORTE, Texas – The Battleship Texas will be closed multiple days this weekend for repairs.
The historic site will be closed Friday (Veterans Day) and Saturday. The ship will reopen to the public on Sunday, and the park entrance fee will be free in honor of veterans and the military.
