Authorities seek man accused of robbing bank on Memorial

Reward of up to $5,000 offered

HOUSTON – Authorities are seeking help in identifying the man who robbed a bank in the 12600 block of Memorial Drive on Aug. 19.

A man entered the bank around 4:20 p.m. and approached the teller counter, police said. He showed the teller a note that read, “Robbery. Gun. Cash.”

The teller handed the man some cash and the man left the bank in an unknown direction, police said.

Nobody saw a vehicle.

The robber is described as an unshaven black man who is about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a camouflage fishing hat, black sunglasses, a button-down khaki shirt with a white undershirt, khaki jeans and white tennis shoes.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging or arrest of the robber.
