Couple found shot to death in truck in apparent murder-suicide, deputies say

HOUSTON – A married couple was found shot to death in a truck Wednesday morning in what deputies are calling an apparent murder-suicide.

Family members of the woman were concerned for her safety because the couple was recently having problems, officials said.

According to deputies, her relatives went looking for her and at around 10 a.m. found the bodies in a white Chevrolet pickup truck near the intersection of Fallbrook Drive and T.C. Jester Boulevard in northwest Harris County, not far from the couple's home.

The couple had four kids, according to officials. The woman was in her late 30s. There was no age given for the man.

Deputies said the man was found sitting in the driver's seat and the woman was in the passenger seat. Both suffered from apparent gunshot wounds, according to deputies, and a weapon was recovered from inside the truck.

Their identities have not been released.
