PASADENA, Texas – An overturned 18-wheeler closed all westbound lanes of the La Porte Freeway for a few hours on Monday.
The big rig overturned near Scarborough Lane around 12:30 p.m., according to Houston TranStar. The area appeared to be cleared around 5 p.m.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.
Diesel fuel spilled on the road, and crews worked to cleanup for hours. Hazmat crews and Texas Department of Transportation authorities were at the scene.
