NASA inducts 2 astronauts into Hall of Fame
TITUSVILLE, Fla. – NASA inducted two astronauts Friday into the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame.
Ellen Ochoa, the first Hispanic woman to go into space and the current director of the Johnson Space Center, and Michael Foale, the only U.S. astronaut to serve on both the International Space Station and the Russian space station Mir, were honored during the ceremony at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Both inductees spoke about their inspiration to join the space program.
