Houston police said a coworker of Cesar Joe Enriquez, 36, went to his apartment to check on him after he did not show up for work. Police said the apartment’s door was open and the coworker went inside, saw blood and called 911.

Police said they found Enriquez, Elizabeth Mayora, 18, and Anthony Contreras, 18. Police said all three victims suffered from gunshot wounds to the head.

Mayora and Contreras were pronounced dead at the scene. Enriquez was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he died.

Police said a young girl was found underneath a bed in the same room where her parents and uncle were found dead.

Police said the child was not harmed, but was taken to a hospital as a precaution. Police said she was later released to family members.

Investigators believe that at least one person, either Mayora or Contreras, was an innocent bystander. Police have interviewed one person who knows about the case.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-22-8477.
