Home destroyed by raging fire in north Houston

HOUSTON – A home was destroyed after it caught fire in north Houston.

Flames broke out around 2:30 a.m. at a home on Mosher and Sweetwater Lanes.

Firefighters said the house was empty when the fire started because the owner was remodeling.

A neighbor said there may have been squatters staying in the home.

No one was hurt.
