Woman accused of injuring 3 people in hit-and-run

Police said woman drove away from crash without helping victims

HOUSTON, TX – Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division are searching for a woman who they believe is involved in a hit-and-run crash in southwest Houston.

According to investigators, the crash happened Monday in the parking lot of a gas station in the 8200 block of Richmond Avenue.

Shortly before 1 a.m., investigators said a woman driving a black jeep backed her vehicle into three people sitting in the bed of a pickup truck.

Police said that woman quickly drove away from the crash without helping the people in the truck.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the woman at the time of the incident.

The woman is described as being black and around 30 years old. She was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and gray pants.
