HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – SWAT was on the scene where a customer had barricaded himself inside a Texas Department of Public Safety office bathroom, according to the Houston Police Department.
The man has since been taken into custody, according to HPD.
Police said the location closed around 6 p.m. and employees found the man while doing a sweep of the building before they locked the doors for the night.
The man locked himself inside the bathroom and refused to come out, police said.
The man had a bag or box, according to police. Employees said they were not sure if the man was armed.
The man was taken away from the office on a stretcher, according to police.
