Pair caught on camera in Wharton accused of credit card fraud

Officers ask for public's help to identify duo

WHARTON, Texas – Two people were caught on surveillance camera using credit cards to make fraudulent transactions, police said Friday.

Officers are looking to identify the pair seen in the footage.

Police haven’t said how much the two are accused of spending. The duo targeted multiple stores in Wharton and Wallis, according to the Wharton Police Department.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lt. Ben Evans at 979-532-3131. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

The Wallis Police Department is investigating as well.
