Man found beaten, shot claims he was kidnapped, officials say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man who had been beaten and shot told authorities he had been kidnapped the day before and let go, officials say.

According to authorities, they were called to respond to a man who had been shot at 4 a.m. Wednesday at the corner of Aldine Westfield and Aldine Bender Roads.

When deputies arrived they found man a with thru-and-thru gunshot wound in his leg. He also had possible broken ribs,= and nose and cuts on his arms, officials said.

The man told deputies that he had been kidnapped earlier yesterday around 4 p.m. off of Lauder Street.

The man said he was taken, tied up, beaten and shot in the leg for an unknown reason, official said.

The man said he was then dropped by the attackers and that is when he called authorities.

Deputies are investigating the incident.
