4 arrested on aggravated robbery, kidnapping charges

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Four people have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping after authorities said they forced their way inside an apartment in the 1600 block of Katy Gap Road in west Harris County on Feb. 10.

Juwan Deshotel, 17, Yuel Valcin, 23, Derrick Boudreaux, 18, and Derrica Lewis, 18, are accused of forcing their way inside the apartment with guns around 11:40 p.m. and tying up a 25-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman before ransacking the residence for valuables, according to authorities.

Police said one of the victims was able to call 911 and deputies arrived fast enough to apprehend the foursome as they were leaving the apartment.

Everything from the apartment was recovered, and no injuries were reported.
