Driver refuses to stop, leads police on 10-minute chase in SW Houston

HOUSTON – A man is facing charges after leading police on a 10-minute chase around 1:00 a.m. Saturday.

According to police, the driver refused to stop for a traffic violation and led officers on a chase that ended at Bissonet Street and West Sam Houston Parkway.

The driver pulled into an apartment complex and tried to get out of the car and run.

Police caught him and he was taken into custody. 

The driver was arrested and is facing charges of evading arrest. 

Police said there was also a female passenger in the car.
