HOUSTON – A Houston Police Department officer was involved in an accident late Monday night.
The officer was southbound on Hwy 249 with his lights and siren on. As he approached the red light at FM 1960, he attempted to go through, but struck a Nissan that was westbound.
There were two people inside that vehicle.
All three were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
