5 arrests made in Fort Bend County drug raid

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Five people have been arrested by the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force after an undercover operation found a drug operation in the Tara subdivision of Fort Bend County, authorities said.

Task force agents discovered the operation involving the distribution of methamphetamine, heroin and prescription medications, according to authorities.

Five Richmond-area residents were taken into custody on Friday.

“We are dedicated to cleaning up the streets of Fort Bend County, no matter how small or large the drug operation may be," Sheriff Troy Nehls said.

Those arrested were:

  • Kevin Morotto, 31, charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a dangerous drug and possession of marijuana
  • Mikkiddon Webb, 35, charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a dangerous drug and possession of marijuana
  • Adrian Gonzalez, 30, charged with manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance
  • Reggie Thompson, 59, charged with fraud/intent to obtain a controlled substance
  • Brandon Forbes, 28, charged with manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance
