Fort Bend game room raid nets $10,500 cash, 1 arrest

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Another illegal game room in Fort Bend County has been shut down by police after a raid at the Richmond Amusement Center Game Room at 10128 S. Highway 6 near Old Richmond Road, according to the Fort Bend County Police Department.

It is the third such raid that has resulted in arrests in the past three months in the county.

A total of 79 gaming machines, one ATM and about $10,500 in cash were seized, police said.

One employee, Ve Le, 28, was arrested and charged with gambling promotion, a misdemeanor.

The

Richmond Amusement Center has been provided with notice of permit revocation, which prevents it from operating within the county.
