JJ Watt, Barbara Bush team up for literacy PSA

HOUSTON – Houston Texans star J.J. Watt and former first lady Barbara Bush have released a public service announcement.

The video was released Saturday and featured at the J.J. Watt Charity Classic at Minute Maid Park.

Bush threw the ceremonial first pitch at the event.

The PSA features the two discussing a strategy to combat low literacy rates.

Watt calls on families to join their team.

"Make reading aloud for at least 15 minutes a daily habit in your family," Watt said during the video.

The PSA was filmed at the Bush family's Houston residence in early April.

This is the second awareness video Bush and Watt have filmed. The first took place in September 2014 and featured Mr Bush donning football shoulder pads and eye black.
