Man severely burns infant's face with hot bathwater, police say

Baby suffers first, third degree burns

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department is searching for a man who investigators say burned a 3-month-old infant with steaming bathwater in Downtown.

Deondray "Todd" Williams, 34, was bathing an infant last Oct. 28 at a home in the 2000 block of Austin Street when he placed the child's head under the kitchen faucet, police said. Investigators said Williams placed the child's head under the water without checking the temperature.
