HOUSTON – A United Airline pilot appeared in court Thursday following accusations he committed multiple crimes, including prostitution.

Bruce Wayne Wallis, 51, was charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution and engaging in organized criminal activity after authorities raided his home Wednesday morning in Kingwood.
“There were about five of us and they let us know what was going on and that was it," neighbor Tom Perlioni said.
Tracie Rebekah Tanner, 37, was also arrested and charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution.
Wallis was one of 12 people arrested during 17 raids across the Houston area in connection to an alleged prostitution enterprise. Some of the brothels were in office buildings.
Authorities said Wallis managed, controlled and supervised over 20 different female prostitutes at more than six local brothels.
Investigators said he received $400 a week from each woman.

- Katherine Anne Rejouis
- Romy Stephan
- Ekaterina Spangler
- Melba Davis
- Sarah Cortez
KPRC 2 went to Wallis’ home after he posted bond, but no one answered the door.
United issued a statement about its employee's arrest.
"United holds its employees to the highest standard. We are assisting the authorities and have removed Mr. Wallis from his flying duties."
Bail for both Wallis and Tanner was set at $5,000.
Wallis is due back in court next week.
