The crash happened at Bon Express Cleaners in the 3700 block of W. Alabama shortly before 2 p.m.

A woman was working at the business when the car came crashing through, pinning her between the cashier station and a wall.  She suffered cuts and bruises, and was transported to the hospital to be checked out, listed in good condition.

"It sounded like an explosion. That's all I know. It sounded like an explosion," said witness Timothy Hall. "It was a collision. The car went inside the store."

The man who was driving the car was also examined by paramedics at the scene. He was released and walked home.

Police said he will likely not get a ticket.

The cleaners is next door to Houston Fire Department Station 3. A captain said he was backing up a truck when he heard a loud boom, then looked over and saw the accident.
Firefighters immediately ran over to help.

"I've never had a car into any of the centers we own to drive all the way to the back of the center," said property owner Louis Macey. "They took out an interior wall so I'm sure there will be some extensive damages."

Photos show the car went through the front of the business, and stopped near a clothing rack in the back.
