Flu virus hits Cleveland ISD; parents on the lookout for symptoms
CLEVELAND, Texas – Flu season has arrived, and Cleveland ISD has been hit hard by the virus.
The district sent out a notice Tuesday evening asking parents to keep an eye on their children for flu-like symptoms. Parents should send their child to the doctor if they notice any.
Schools in the district are taking advice from the Texas Department of Health to prevent the flu from spreading even further by disinfecting classrooms, common areas and buses.
