Police: Man robs cellphone store, shoots at officers


PASADENA, Texas – Police were called just before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to a robbery at an At&T cellphone store in Pasadena.

Police said the accused thief robbed the store and fled in a car. Officer were able to find the vehicle and a short chase ensued. At some point, police said the robber fired shots at officers. No one was hit, police said.

According to officials, the man drove into neighborhood on Fresa Street. where he stopped the car, got out and ran. Police caught the man in the backyard of a nearby home and arrested him.

Police continue to investigate the robbery at the AT&T store.
