$7500 reward for most wanted fugitive from Laredo

Alfredo Rangel added to Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety has added Alfredo Rangel, 37, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list.

There is now a $7,500 reward being offered for information leading to his arrest. Rangel is wanted for parole violation, larceny and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Rangel has ties to Laredo and is suspected of being associated with the Texas Mexican Mafia gang. His criminal history includes aggravated assault of a public servant, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery. In 2000, Rangel and two accomplices violently assaulted a DPS trooper during a traffic stop that happened near Cotulla.

Rangel is 5 feet 9 inchees tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has a scar above his right eye and another on his stomach. He also has a mole above his right eye.
