2 students hit by car in southeast Houston

HOUSTON – Two students were hospitalized Monday after being hit by a car in southeast Houston, according to officials.

The crash was reported just before 8 a.m. near the intersection of Broadway and Rockhill streets.

A spokesman for the Houston Independent School District said the children, who are students at Lewis Elementary School, suffered minor injuries.

Drivers should expect delays in the area while the crash is investigated.
