HOUSTON – Five people were shot in north Harris County Wednesday, according to investigators.
Two people were killed and three others were wounded at a residence in the 1900 block of July Street around 8:15 p.m.
Deputies said three people showed up to the residence around 8:15 p.m. Two homeowners were home at the time. All five people were armed, deputies said.
A verbal altercation ensued and all five people were shot.
One of the homeowners was killed, the other is in stable condition, deputies said.
One of the people who arrived at the residence was killed, the other two are in serious condition, according to authorities.

The three people who survived were taken into custody, authorities said.
