HOUSTON – Houston police said a 12-year-old girl was shot Friday at an apartment in Spring Branch.
The girl was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, authorities said.
Police said two men were attempting to get inside an apartment in the 8400 block of Hammerly Road around 8:30 p.m.
When the children inside wouldn't let the men inside, police said they went to the parking lot and fired at least four shots towards the apartment.
Police said the men left the scene in a red sedan.
