HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A driver is dead and several others injured from a crash that happened around 8:40 p.m. Saturday.
The wreck occurred in the 14500 block of Lockwood Road.

Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies said the driver of a white Impala lost control and drove into oncoming traffic.
A vehicle driving southbound struck the Impala on the passenger side, killing the passenger.
Authorities identified the passenger as Joseph Wimberley.
The driver of the Impala was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The third occupant of the Impala and two out of the three occupants of the other vehicle were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
