UTMB Galveston holds town hall meeting to discuss coronavirus

GALVESTON, Texas – The University of Texas Medical Branch clinicians and researchers led a discussion about the new coronavirus Friday.

UTMB provided updates on what they know about the new virus, how world-class infectious disease scientists are studying it, and how they are planning for the disease that the virus causes.

The meeting took place in Levin Hall on the UTMB Galveston Campus at noon. The discussion featured a panel discussion and time for audience members’ questions.
