HOUSTON – This Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 -- Oct. 15), NBC Latino will honor 20 achievers who are moving the needle in their respective fields and making our communities and our nation better.
These honorees are fiercely proud of their heritage, which has informed and guided their work and inspired their accomplishments. Whether it be a park ranger or supermodel, a Harvard law professor or a student journalist, a philanthropist or marine scientist… these Latinos reflect the diversity of identities, backgrounds and talent that define and shape the U.S. Latino experience.
Past honorees have included well-known names like Broadway’s Lin-Manuel Miranda and celebrity chef José Andrés, and new faces are just as important.
