Highway 90 between Dayton and Liberty at the Trinity River opening back up
LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas – The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office said they have been informed that Highway 90 between Liberty and Dayton at the Trinity River will open up shortly and traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction.
This area of the highway connects the cities of Dayton and Liberty in Liberty County.
The highway closed Monday when the water was coming up over the parts of the road.
The area has seen heavy flooding due to the swollen Trinity River.
