A warm, windy and cloudy Easter Sunday in Houston.

Staying wind for work week

Easter Sunday forecast:

The high pressure that brought the clear skies and calm winds Friday has moved east. The rotation around the high is bringing a south wind. That flow is warm and humid. An area of low pressure to the west increases the pressure gradient. That will give us a fairly strong breezy Sunday. Some winds gusting over 20 mph.

Sunday morning temperatures are mild, and the warmth sticks around through the evening. Although we’ll reach the 80s, the day is mostly cloudy with a chance for a stray shower.

10-day forecast:

Our next chance of rain is Tuesday of next week from our next cold front. The solar eclipse will be on the 10-day forecast later today. Before April 8th, we have a chance of rain on Sunday the 7th.

Warm, windy, and cloudy through the early week. Then it is cooler, with plenty of sunshine by midweek.
