The morning storms formed along a compact, potent low pressure system that will quickly race eastward, out of Texas, Monday afternoon.  In the wake of the storms, dry air will filter in from the west.  Sunny skies will break out and temperatures will shoot into the upper 70s by mid-afternoon.
