Houston’s Urban Nutcracker is a community outreach holiday production produced by Culture Arts Initiative which is a 501c3 arts organization founded by Traci Greene in 2013. Houston’s Urban Nutcracker features over 100 dancers, actors, and musicians from all over the Houston metropolitan area. We host city-wide auditions each year for dancers 6 and up. What makes our nutcracker special is that we showcase Houston local talent and celebrate the cultural diversity and talent in our city.
