HOUSTON – Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud was named the winner of the annual Media Good Guy award by the Houston chapter of the Pro Football Writers of Association.
Stroud was consistently cooperative, insightful, and open in all of his dealings with the media, taking time to thoroughly answer questions every week.
“It’s cool, man,” Stroud said Friday after receiving the award. “Thank you guys. I appreciate it a lot. I try and do my best to answer questions the right way.
“That’s kind of how I was raised, just to be insightful, look people in their eyes, stuff like that. Thank my mom and my dad.”
