Pearland High School – Under head coach, Laneigh Clark, the Pearland Lady Oilers continue to see post-season success throughout her 24-year tenure.
“I love her to death. No coach could care for you as much as she cares for us,” outfielder Hailey Golden said.
“It’s tradition, the girls see it on everything,” Clark said.
A winning tradition, that includes a whole lot of superstitions-- including team meals, snacks and more.
“I believe it brings us good vibes and gets us hyped for the game,” Abigail Gutierrez said.
Pearland will take on Katy in the regional semi-finals starting on Wednesday.
