On the first segment, VYPE Austin/San Antonio/Hill Country editor/reporter Thomas Bingham recapped the fourth week of UIL 5A and 6A football and the eighth week of small school action.
In segment two, Thomas interviewed Hays' volleyball and girls basketball player Trista Strasser. She discussed her Missouri volleyball commitment, what she enjoys about volleyball and basketball, the depth of Hays County athletics, playing with teammate Lily Guevara, the upside of her brother (Buda Johnson football's Ashton Strasser) who competes at a different Hays CISD school, and more.
In the second half of the show, the host releases the updated VYPE Austin TAPPS 11-Man, UIL 4A, 5A Division II, 5A Division I and 6A Football Rankings, honor the show's team of the week (Leander football) and mention games to watch for the week to come.
Correction: Hays football has beaten Lake Travis twice in non-district games and once as playoff opponents.
