Police said the man threatened his mother and had a machete and pistol on him.

Officers confirmed that the mother was able to call 911.

Once authorities arrived, they began to speak to the man through the front door.

The man would not come out of the home and instead told police, repeatedly, that he would blow-up the home.

Detectives said the officers pulled out and called in the SWAT team.

SWAT then took over and negotiated with the suspect.

Eventually, the man came out of the home and investigators said he gave up with no incident.

Authorities did not release the man's name or if he would face any charges.
