BAYTOWN – Authorities are investigating a deadly motorcycle accident in Baytown.
Officials said it happened around 5:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of North State Business Highway 146.

Baytown police said a 57-year-old man from La Porte was riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle as he sped into a curve, left the roadway and crossed a grassy median before being tossed from the bike.
Officials said the man died at the scene. His name was not immediately released by police.
Authorities are reconstructing the crash as they continue investigating.
