PASADENA, Texas – A Pasadena Independent School District police officer was arrested and charged for assault of a family member, officials said.
An investigation was launched after Arnold Magana Jr., 45, choked a family member at his home during a dispute.

Pasadena ISD released the following statement:
"Pasadena ISD is currently investigating the arrest of a Pasadena ISD Police Officer for an alleged domestic incident that happened while on personal time. Any action taken in regards to this incident will be in accordance with Pasadena ISD Board Policy."
