BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – An Uber driver in Michigan is accused of stabbing one of his passengers five times.

Police said 23-year-old Jacob Matthew Allemon got into an altercation early Saturday morning with the 49-year-old passenger in the back seat of his 2012 Honda Civic.
The passenger suffered multiple stab wounds. He was treated at a nearby hospital and released the next day.
According to police, Allemon was upset when the man tapped his car window to alert him he and his wife were entering the car. Allemon drove about a mile down the road before stopping in a parking lot and telling the couple to get out. The man asked Allemon if they could wait in his car for another Uber because it was snowing outside.
That's when Allemon and the passenger got into an altercation, police said. The man was stabbed in his face, neck, and chest. He was able to disarm and restrain the 23-year-old Uber driver until police arrived.
Allemon was arrested and charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. He is being held in jail on a $250,000 bond.
