HOUSTON – A collision in southwest Houston sent three people to the hospital and ended in the arrest of one driver.
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, a BMW traveling the wrong direction on West Alabama Street crashed head-on into another BMW heading east on Westheimer Road, just west of The Galleria.

Three people in the second BMW were injured in the crash, including a child. Emergency crews transported them to a hospital in stable condition.
Police arrested the wrong-way driver at the scene and charged her with driving while intoxicated, after determining she was intoxicated at the time of the crash. Her name has not been released.
