1 killed, 2 injured in Arcola taqueria shooting

Arcola Police: shooter still on the run

ARCOLA – Arcola police are searching for four men after one person was killed and two others were injured inside a taqueria.

According to Arcola Police Chief David Tezeno, a fight broke out overnight at the Regio Taqueria on FM 521 and Highway 6.

Officials said a shouting match between a group of men deadly turn around 1 a.m. Monday.

Arcola police said both a father and son were shot.

Officials said the father was shot twice and transported Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition. His 30-year-old son died at the scene. 

Police said a third victim, a woman, was also hit by bullet.

Authorities said they believe the victims knew the suspects.

Police said they are looking for four suspects, described as Hispanic men, in this case. 

Investigators are reviewing surveillance video as they try to identify those responsible.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is assisting Arcola police with this investigation.
