Heartwarming rescue: Northwest firefighters save dog from abandoned vehicle in scorching conditions

Firefighters from the Northwest Volunteer Fire Department rescued a dog trapped inside a hot, abandoned car.
Rescue team members responded quickly to an urgent call about a distressed dog. The dog was safely rescued from the vehicle and provided immediate care, including water and comfort.
The department shared the story on social media:
🚒🐶Heroes in Action! 👏❤️ Our incredible firefighters rescued a furry friend from a dangerously hot, abandoned car. With temperatures soaring, every second counted. Thanks to their quick thinking and expert skills, the dog was rescued safely and is now in good hands. We’re grateful for our local heroes who go above and beyond every day!
