HOUSTON – A man was charged and arrested in connection to the 2021 fatal shooting of another man in north Houston, the Houston Police Department announced on Monday.
Wallick Eli Thompson, 48, was charged with murder in the death of 35-year-old William Satterfield.

On March 12, 2021, officers were dispatched to a house in the 800 block of Green Meadow Lane at about 9:30 a.m. after a man was found unresponsive.
When they arrived, they found Satterfield behind the home. There was reportedly concrete mix on his upper body, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police investigated the case and later identified Thompson as a suspect. He was charged in Nov. 2023.
On Saturday, Thompson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.
