HOUSTON – A man is dead after a shooting in southwest Houston Friday evening.
Houston Police said the call came in just after 8 p.m. in the 5400 block of Heatherbrook Drive.

Officers arrived to find a man who had been shot at least one time.
He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
Investigators are conducting a follow-up investigation with witnesses. They are also looking for surveillance video.
