Should students be held accountable after making false allegations against teachers, staff? If so, how?

HOUSTON – We want to hear from our viewers -- especially our local teachers.

KPRC 2 reporter Rilwan Balogun recently spoke with a former teacher who says his life has been flipped upside down after false allegations were made against him by two students several years ago that put a halt to his 15-year teaching career.

Since then, he said he hasn’t been able to find a job since -- although the cases have been dismissed after the students admitted to lying on the stand.

Many teachers find themselves walking a thin line and feeling powerless when dealing with misbehaving students or false allegations.
