When officers arrived on scene, they negotiated with the gator before escorting him to a nearby lake without incident.

“Officer Srinual swiftly handled the situation, negotiating with the gator and safely escorting it back to a nearby lake without incident,” the post reads. “Well, for us, at least – not so much for the gator. We bet the gator would claim there was definitely an ‘incident’ from his perspective.”

Fulshear locals commented their praise and cracked a few clever comments.

“What do you call (an) Alligator that is stirring up trouble? An instigator!,” one person wrote.

“Did you Mirandize it?,” another person joked.
