FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – A 14-year-old was stabbed during a family gettogether overnight, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. at a home near the intersection of Old Richmond Road and Adelfina Street.

Following a preliminary investigation, deputies determined a fight broke out at a large family gathering. During the altercation, a man at the party stabbed the teenager.

The 14-year-old was rushed to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

It’s unclear if deputies have arrested anyone in connection with this incident.
