Mayor Turner and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee were scheduled to hold a news briefing at 1:30 p.m.
According to the Mayor’s Office, Councilmember Tiffany Thomas, FIEL’s Cesar Espinosa, Bernard “Bun B” Freeman are among those who will join Turner to call for the “healing of our nation” following the 57th anniversary of the March on Washington.
