HPD: 2 steal from cellphone store

HOUSTON - Two men pretended to be customers before they stole from a cellphone store, investigators said.

Houston police said two men walked into a cellphone store in the 2000 block of Westheimer about 1 p.m. on Dec. 4 and looked at display phones.

When the employees were out of sight, the men stole several phones from the displays and then ran out of the store.

Both of the thieves were described as Hispanic, in their 20s and 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 to 170 pounds. One was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, khaki short and tennis shoes. The other was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored baseball cap.
